Reasons Eating Disorder Center (Reasons) is seeking candidate professionals, preferably with previous experience working with eating disorders, trauma, substance use and LGBTQIA+ communities, to provide compassionate care to our diverse patients for our residential treatment facilities located in beautiful, intimate six-bed houses in the Pasadena and the Arcadia neighborhoods of the Los Angeles area. The Reasons Clinical Outreach & Alumni Engagement Specialist is a fast-paced, results-oriented role responsible for expanding Reasons EDC’s referral network while leading impactful, data-informed alumni engagement initiatives. This position focuses on high-volume clinical outreach, strategic territory planning, and relationship development with professionals and community stakeholders across assigned markets. The Specialist generates new leads and opportunities through key metrics and market trend analysis to achieve company, department, and individual goals. A core component of this role is the intentional development of our eating disorder referral network, including the alumni community. The Specialist oversees the full alumni engagement lifecycle, including ongoing communication, wellness checks, outcomes tracking, resource sharing, social media group stewardship, and coordination of quarterly alumni events to strengthen long-term connection, enhance patient experience and satisfaction, and support continued recovery. As a key member of the Business Development team, the Clinical Outreach & Alumni Engagement Specialist collaborates closely with the Admissions Team integrate outreach activity, alumni insights, and performance data into quarterly B2B and B2C initiatives that increase visibility, deepen community relationships, and support consistent referral flow. Reasons provides a place of respite and reflection for all genders of all ages to work through their eating disorders and discover their reasons for recovery.
