About The Position

The Clinical Outcomes Coordinator (Coordinator) plays a critical role in the successful delivery of Nexus Health Systems’ outcome measurement strategy. This position is responsible for administering, tracking, and managing clinical assessments across multiple inpatient programs serving children and young adults with neurodevelopmental conditions with complex medical and behavioral needs. The Coordinator ensures high-quality, standardized data collection at key time points (admission, interim, discharge, and post-discharge), enabling program evaluation and quality improvement across the continuum of care.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree Psychology, Rehabilitation Sciences (Occupational, Physical, or Speech Therapy), Applied Behavior Analysis, Clinical Social Work, Counseling, Public Health or Behavioral Health Sciences OR
  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, nursing, or a related field with demonstrated clinical experience (minimum 2 years) in behavioral health, rehabilitation, or pediatric settings.
  • 2-3 years of experience in pediatric, neurodevelopmental, or neurorehabilitation settings (hospital, residential, or research).
  • Strong organizational and scheduling skills
  • Accuracy in data collection and inter-rater reliability
  • Clear, professional communication with staff and families
  • Ability to manage multiple assessments concurrently across programs
  • Comfort with training others and maintaining fidelity checklists
  • High attention to ethical conduct, confidentiality, and safety
  • CITI GCP Training required within 30 days after hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred Licensure- LPA (Licensed Psychological Associate), LPC-A (Licensed Professional Counselor Associate), or LMSW (Licensed Master Social Worker)
  • De-escalation training (preferred).

  • Collaborates effectively with colleagues and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Drives the consistent delivery of evidence-based care through high-fidelity administration and tracking of clinical outcome measures.
  • Ensures assessments are conducted within established timelines.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in standardized behavioral tools, including scoring, interpretation, and reporting.
  • Maintains strong working knowledge of behavior and functional assessment procedures across neurodevelopmental, psychiatric, and medically complex populations.
  • Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to ensure outcome data informs care planning, team discussions, and family education.
  • Assists in identifying trends in outcome data to guide clinical programming decisions, quality improvement initiatives, and individual patient progress reviews.
  • Provides training or coaching to clinical staff and peers on appropriate data collection procedures to promote consistency and minimize variability.
  • Supports patient-centered care by ensuring comfort, minimizing disruptions during assessments and advocating for appropriate data use to improve outcomes.
  • Ensures all activities adhere to healthcare regulations and organizational policies.
  • Participates in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
  • Promotes a culture of patient safety which results in the identification and reduction of unsafe practices.
  • Adheres to IRB regulations, maintaining confidentiality and high data integrity at all times.
  • Completes annual education requirements.
  • Maintains competency, as evidenced by completion of competency validation requirements.
  • Maintains competency and knowledge of current standards of practice, trends, and developments.
  • Participates in relevant workshops, seminars, and continuing education courses to stay current with industry trends, healthcare regulations, and best practices.
  • Promotes stewardship of hospital resources while ensuring quality patient care.
  • Practices time and resource efficiency by optimizing travel schedules and preventing duplication of assessments across programs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
