About The Position

The Clinical Operations Coordinator oversees the management of the GI recall database and facilitates capsule endoscopy testing. This role supports leadership in the daily operations of both reception and clinical teams, ensuring exceptional customer service and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include assessing and coordinating staffing needs to optimize patient care delivery. Additionally, the Coordinator plays a key role in recruiting, training, developing, and inspiring high-performing personnel.

Requirements

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification or graduate from an accredited school of nursing (LPN), required
  • If LPN, you must also have a current MS state license
  • BLS/CPR certification, preferred
  • Two (2) years of prior healthcare and supervisory experience, preferred
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Ability to maintain composure when confronted with fast-paced and stressful situations/timelines
  • Ability and desire to learn new technologies
  • Must be timely and dependable
  • Must be able to multi-task, work independently and be very detail oriented
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Must be able to complete documentation accurately
  • Must be able to follow existing workflows
  • Working knowledge of front office duties including telephone etiquette, cashiering, scheduling appointments, and making referrals
  • Working knowledge of scheduling personnel to aid physicians in a clinic setting

Nice To Haves

  • BLS/CPR certification
  • Two (2) years of prior healthcare and supervisory experience
  • proficiency with reporting functions including Excel and various spreadsheet programs.
