About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian for a full-time position at Butler Hospital, located in Providence, RI. This 200-bed behavioral health facility is part of the Care New England system. In this role, you will serve as the onsite clinical lead, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team while also providing direct patient care.

What You'll Do
provide nutritional care that aligns with patients’ psychiatric, addiction and/or eating disorder treatment;
collaborate with the Clinical Nutrition Manager IV and food service operations team regarding meal provision and menu management;
precept nutrition students and dietetic interns; and
ensure DOH/State/Federal and company standards are being upheld.

What You Bring
Registered Dietitian credential and licensure in RI;
excellent interpersonal communication skills to interact with a wide variety of individuals and groups;

Requirements

• Registered Dietitian credential and licensure in RI
• excellent interpersonal communication skills to interact with a wide variety of individuals and groups
• strong verbal and written communication skills
• the ability to work with minimal oversight in collaboration with physicians, nursing and ancillary staff
• Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
• For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
• Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
• Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
