About The Position

Responsible for managing clinical nutrition, diet office and dietary needs of the patients. Administrative responsibilities include department's Performance Improvement, formulary, and assists in meeting all state, federal and The Joint Commission standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics or a closely related field approved by the American Dietetic Association
• At least two years clinical experience in an acute care hospital or institutional food service facility
• Valid registration as a Registered Dietician from the American Dietetics Association (ADA)
• May required State licensure as required by Nevada State Law
• Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide service appropriate to the age of the patient
• Computer proficient
• Blood Borne Pathogens Exposure Category: Category III: Job does not involve exposure to blood, body fluids, non-intact skin or tissue specimens. Incumbent does not perform or help in emergency medical care or first aid as part of job.

• Specialty certification (CDE, CNSD, CSP, CDR) may be required for a specialty position.
