About The Position

Sodexo is seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian to serve as a Clinical Nutrition Manager for a hospital within a large health system in Flint, Michigan. This expansive healthcare corporation includes 12 hospital campuses throughout the state. This leadership role offers the opportunity to work closely with a team of CNM's across the system and elevate Clinicia, Sodexo’s global brand for clinical and patient nutrition, across a large, diverse network.

Requirements

  • Registered Dietitian credentials and acute care experience
  • supervisory or management experience
  • excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills
  • experience with regulatory accreditation, regulatory readiness and review, and establishing and maintaining standards of care
  • Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
  • For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
  • Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hireCertification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
  • At least 13 months experience supervising and directing people and other resources to achieve specific end results within limited timeframes.
  • 3 years as experienced practitioner able to work unsupervised and provide professional supervision to developing practitioners

Responsibilities

  • manage a clinical nutrition program within the acute care setting
  • supervise a team of inpatient dietitians
  • collaborate on the implementation and management of Sodexo’s meal service program and menu management system
