About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a Clinical Nutrition Manager III to provide nutrition leadership at SSM Health St. Joseph Lake St. Louis (215 bed), SSM Health St. Joseph St. Charles (150 bed), & SSM Health St. Joseph – Wentzville Behavioral Health Hospital (75 bed) located in St. Charles County MO. Sodexo offers: Four weeks’ vacation and 3 personal days/year! Reimbursement for AND dues, state licensure fees and CDR renewal! Money toward continuing education events! Up to $5000 tuition reimbursement annually! What You'll Do Position will report to Regional Clinical Nutrition Manager IV and ideal candidate will: Provide direct management over 13 Registered Dietitians and will drive clinical programs for patient care while maintaining professional and business practices to assure regulatory compliance. develop strong rapport with nursing and medical staff and implement performance improvement initiatives drives results and builds cohesive teams have a strong focus on driving outstanding patient satisfaction; and the ability to work well with physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff. Requirements

  • strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Registered Dietitian credentials and MO state licensure
  • Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
  • Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
  • Minimum Management Experience: 6 years experience of planning, managing and organizing resources within short/medium timeframes within the overall policy framework
  • Minimum Functional Experience: 5 years as experienced specialized practitioner able to work unsupervised and provide professional supervision to specialists.
  • Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
  • Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
