About The Position

St. Anthony North Hospital, with over 50 years of service to communities including Westminster, Erie, Brighton, Broomfield, Northglenn, and Thornton, is seeking a Clinical Nursing Manager. The hospital campus boasts 60,000 square feet of integrated primary and specialty care physician clinics, an ambulatory surgery center, a birthing center with private suites, a Level III Trauma Center with 24/7 emergency services, over 150 inpatient beds, and an outpatient diagnostics center. The hospital achieved prestigious Magnet designation in 2023, recognizing its nursing staff's excellence. Built on pillars of convenience, wellness, and person-centered care, it offers inpatient and outpatient services with an emphasis on preventive health and education. The 4 South Medical Surgical department, a 30-bed Magnet® recognized unit, specializes in cardiac, neuro, and med-surg patients, handling diagnoses such as CHF, COPD, Chest Pain, MI, GI bleeds, post-catheterization, TIA, TR bands, and stroke. The unit also manages overflow cardiac or neuro patients who meet specific criteria, with a mission to provide excellent patient-centered care through teamwork and compassion. The Clinical Nursing Manager is responsible for overseeing clinical nursing practices and patient care delivery within this unit. Key functions include managing human, fiscal, material, support, and systems resources to achieve and maintain unit goals through daily operational focus. This role requires a high level of integrity, a proactive approach to new challenges, and a strong emphasis on associate engagement. The manager is expected to foster a positive work environment by being visible and accessible to all staff and customers, and to support associate development through evidence-based practice and education.

Requirements

  • 3 years RN experience
  • 1-year clinical leadership experience
  • High School GED
  • A degree in nursing (BSN or MSN)
  • Current RN License to practice in state of employment as applicable
  • BLS through the American Heart Association
  • Must sit for appropriate board certification within six months of hire or transfer into the role
  • Certification must be passed/obtained within two years of hire or transfer into the role
  • Clinical and/or Leadership certification required within 6 months of hire or transfer
  • Credential: Nursing Specific- ANCC Approved
