About The Position
Under general supervision of the Nurse Manager or designee, following established policies, procedures and professional guidelines, the Clinical Nurse delivers nursing care to patients throughout the life span, neonatal through geriatric. This role involves planning and implementing nursing care, documenting nursing assessments, identifying and reporting situations requiring further intervention, formulating and communicating a goal-directed plan of care, and assuring patient rights. The Clinical Nurse provides professional nursing care to patients in all areas covered by the Specialty Staffing Team within the assigned clinical division and is responsible for performing job duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Florida
