About The Position

Join our team as a Clinical Nurse in Outpatient Ambulatory Services. We're looking for a dynamic nursing professional eager to showcase compassionate, evidence-based nursing care skills and make a meaningful impact in our MSK Outpatient Infusion. Work within a state-of-the-art Ambulatory Outpatient Infusion Center. Manage a select caseload of patients receiving chemotherapy on an outpatient basis. Act as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide continuity of care throughout various stages of oncology treatment and follow-up.

Requirements

• New York State RN license and BSN
• 2 years of related Medical Oncology experience required
• BCLS required

Nice To Haves

• Chemotherapy experience and certification strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy/biotherapy, perform patient assessments, and provide symptom management.
• Participate in the implementation of patient/family education and clinical support programs to ensure optimal care throughout the healthcare continuum
• Participate in an individualized training program geared towards providing nursing care in an ambulatory setting.
