About The Position
Adjunct Clinical Instructor for Practical Nursing Program. The role includes overseeing PN students during clinical rotations and/or leading practical skills lab assignments on campus.
Responsibilities
- Engage students with active learning in the lab or clinical setting.
- Assist and supervise students with patient assessment, administration of medications and patient care procedures.
- Provide clinical instruction at long term care, sub-acute and acute clinical sites.
- Create a clinical environment which encourages the student’s academic growth and professional development.
- Engage in the evaluation processes of the Practical Nursing Program to evaluate students.
- Submit final grades and other program related materials in a timely manner.
- Engage on ongoing continuing education related to teaching responsibilities and clinical nursing practice.
