This is a full-time evening position, 10 am - 10 pm, which includes weekdays and weekends at the Electrophysiology Unit at NewYork-Presbyterian / Columbia University Irving Medical Center - 3 days a week (On Call included)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Complete Nurse Residency Program if new Graduate
  • Current New York State RN Licensure
  • Knowledge of nursing process: social, behavioral, biological and physical science
  • Knowledge of current health care environment
  • Knowledge of customer service principles
  • Knowledge of effective interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge of use of computer applications
  • Ability to analyze patient care data to deliver and evaluate care
  • BCLS certification
  • ACLS certification within 90 days of hire/transfer required

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ year of Cardiac Cath, EP, or IR experience
  • 1+ year of ICU clinical experience strongly preferred
