This is a full-time evening position, 10:00 am to 10:00 pm, which includes weekdays and weekends at the Cardiac Catheterization Lab at NewYork-Presbyterian / Columbia University Irving Medical Center - 3 days a week (On Call included)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Complete Nurse Residency Program if new Graduate.
- Current New York State RN Licensure.
- Knowledge of nursing process: social, behavioral, biological and physical science.
- Knowledge of current health care environment.
- Knowledge of customer service principles.
- Knowledge of effective interpersonal communication skills.
- Knowledge of use of computer applications.
- Ability to analyze patient care data to deliver and evaluate care.
- BCLS certification.
- ACLS certification within 90 days of hire/transfer required.
Nice To Haves
- 1+ year of Cardiac Cath, EP, or IR experience.
- 1+ year of ICU clinical experience is strongly preferred.
