About The Position

Heartline Staffing, a Strategic Talent Partner with Purple Cow Recruiting, is supporting a medical device organization in the search for an experienced Clinical Nurse Educator with a strong background in ICU, CCU, or Emergency Department care. This is a non-sales, field-based clinical educator role supporting hospital partners across Ohio and Indiana. The Clinical Nurse Educator serves as a clinical expert for critical care disposable products, delivering education, in-services, and on-site clinical support while partnering closely with a regional sales team. In this role, you will provide hands-on clinical education to ICU, CCU, and ER teams, support product evaluations and implementations, and act as a trusted clinical resource within hospital environments. This position is designed for a confident, take-charge nurse with strong leadership presence, hospital credibility, and the ability to build lasting professional relationships. Travel is a core component of this role, with approximately 50–65% regional travel required across Ohio and Indiana. Compensation: Base salary ranges from $110,000 to $115,000 annually. Total compensation at plan is approximately $120,000. A comprehensive benefits package is included.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years recent acute-care hospital experience in ICU, CCU, or Emergency Department
Proven experience educating, training, or leading clinical teams in a hospital setting
Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced inpatient environments
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
Ability and willingness to travel 50–65% within Ohio and Indiana
Strong communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills
