About The Position

Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) is an integrated behavioral healthcare agency in Arizona, providing residential, outpatient, inpatient, patient-centered medical homes, medication-assisted treatment, and crisis services to individuals experiencing crisis, opioid use disorder, homelessness, and mental illness. CBI is a non-profit provider of substance use and behavioral health programs, including prevention, education, and treatment using evidence-based models. A CBI Clinical Manager is a licensed behavioral health professional who meets all credentialing requirements and is in good standing with the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners. If the Clinical Manager is an independently licensed behavioral health professional, they should be able to provide clinical supervision to assigned licensed clinical staff. The Clinical Manager is also responsible for delivering required clinical trainings during New Employee Orientation (NEO) and throughout the year. Additionally, they work with the Clinical Director to develop clinical trainings to improve clinical competencies and service delivery. The Clinical Manager conducts scheduled clinical staffings and unscheduled clinical consultations to assigned clinical teams, including during on-call shifts, to provide guidance and direction in accordance with CBI Clinical Policy and Procedure, contractual, state, and Federal requirements, and ethical standards. The Clinical Manager reviews Behavioral Health Assessment and Risk Assessments, provides feedback to staff, and provides BHP sign-off. They work directly with the Clinical Director and Clinical Operations team to ensure clinical programming and services are effective and efficient in addressing patient/participant and community needs, and are delivered in accordance with CBI Clinical Policy and Procedure, Arizona Administrative Code, ADHS/DBHS Provider Manual, Code of Federal Regulations, and contract requirements.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in field related to behavioral health.
  • Licensed at the associate or independent level with The Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners as a Psychologist, Social worker, Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist or Substance Abuse Counselor.
  • Fingerprint clearance card.
  • Current AZ Driving License.
  • Clear 39-month motor vehicle record.

Nice To Haves

  • 1-3 years of full-time Behavioral Health Care related work experience where his or her prior experience would provide adequate exposure to both behavioral and medical crisis situations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical supervision, as defined by 4 A.A.C 6, to the licensed clinical staff to whom he/she is assigned, if independently licensed.
  • Deliver required clinical trainings during New Employee Orientation (NEO) as well as prescribed throughout the year.
  • Work with the Clinical Director to develop clinical trainings based on identified needs with the goal of improving clinical competencies and service delivery among clinical staff members.
  • Conduct scheduled clinical staffings as well as unscheduled clinical consultation to assigned clinical teams, including during on-call shifts.
  • Provide guidance and direction in accordance with CBI Clinical Policy and Procedure as well as with contractual, state and Federal requirements and ethical standards.
