Discover all the possibilities of a career at Northside today. The Manager of the IMCU & PCU has the primary responsibility for overseeing daily patient care operations for this department. Required to frequently apply a set of management principles to the smooth operations of the department. Must be capable of independent judgement and decision making in the areas of budget, personnel, patient services, physician relations and administrative or professional programs. Has twenty-four (24) hour accountability for assigned area. Our IMCU has 16 beds dedicated to providing specialized medical attention to adult patients. We have a team of skilled healthcare professionals, including nurses, physicians, and support staff, working to ensure every patient's comfort, safety, and well-being. Partnering with our IMCU is our PCU housing 36 beds, offering specialized care and continuous hemodynamic monitoring tailored to serving patients with a wide range of complex medical conditions including acute cardiac events, severe respiratory failure, sepsis, and more.

Requirements

B.S. degree in Nursing or related healthcare field and a minimum of three (3) years nursing experience, with at least two (2) years in a leadership or managerial capacity; or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Good written and oral communication skills.
