About The Position
The Clinical Manager II has 24/7 operational responsibility for a minimum of one very large or highly complex department, or a minimum of two (2) nursing departments, or a minimum of one (1) nursing department plus responsibility for ongoing hospital-wide program(s) that support global strategic goals. Includes accountability for the quality of patient care, the performance of the nursing staff, assisting in the development and management of the budget, and the orientation, education and development of the staff. Typically supervises a minimum of 75 FTEs.
Requirements
- Require a minimum of four (4) years of clinical nursing experience with two (2) of the years in a supervisory/managerial role.
- Require nursing specialty certification.
- Require nursing leadership certification within two (2) years of hire/promotion date.
- BSN: Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- BLS: Basic Life Support/CPR
- FL RN: FL Registered Nurse License
