About The Position
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse Clinical Manager to lead and oversee clinical operations for our Hospice program. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, staff supervision, and clinical excellence in a home-based setting. The ideal candidate is a strong clinical leader with hospice experience and a passion for patient-centered care.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum 2–3 years of hospice experience
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficient with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Nice To Haves
- Prior clinical management or supervisory experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical oversight and leadership to hospice nursing staff and clinicians
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and accrediting agency regulations (CMS, Medicare Conditions of Participation)
- Supervise, mentor, and support field staff
- Review and oversee patient care plans and clinical outcomes
- Coordinate patient care with physicians, LMSWs, and interdisciplinary team members
- Participate in quality assurance, performance improvement, and risk management activities
- Assist with onboarding, training, and competency assessments of clinical staff
- Respond to clinical issues, escalations, and patient concerns as needed
