WHAT IS THIS POSITION RESPONSIBLE FOR? Clinical supervision of Crisis Services Program, and direct clinical supervision of Outreach and Peer Support Specialists. Assist with process of screening, interviewing, and recommending applicants for hire. Provide clinical program development to include use of evidence-based practices, as well as staff clinical training. Respond promptly when children, families and adults are experiencing a crisis that puts them at great risk for hospitalization or other higher, or less desirable, out of home levels of care. Assess crisis through risk assessment, management, crisis prevention, intervention and engage as appropriate to help de-escalate crises and promote stability and recovery. Coordinate referral and transition for engaged clients once stabilization is established. Promote a culture of inclusion and participation. Collaborate with psychiatrist, nursing team, and other medical providers, for provision of medical care during crisis recovery. Engage and collaborate with community partners, to include emergency responders, hospitals, and community social service agencies to coordinate transitions of care for individuals in crisis.
