The Clinical Logistic Supply Specialist manages all clinical inventory in excess of $20 million at a system level, and all functions for the Surgery/SPD, Cath Lab, EP Lab, and Radiology warehouses and PAR's utilizing the Lawson Inventory Management System, provides accurate inventory control, including cycle counting, order fill, inventory turns, add/change/delete process, and obsolete inventory. Responsibility for consignment, non-stock, and utilization of mobile supply chain and procurement. Confers frequently with the Clinical management staff to relay performance and operational issues. Performs auditing of staff inventory scanning and system related information. The Clinical Logistic Supply Specialist is a key role responsible for management control and movement of clinical supplies across the departments. Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office Suite, Supply Chain inventory software and mobile supply chain devices. Complies with Patient Experience and Performance Behavior Standards always. Will assist in orientation and training of new clinical staff. Must be able to collaboratively work with a cross functional team to include co-workers, clinical staff, Sourcing, CQVA, supervisors and the management teams. This function is of critical importance to patient safety and outcomes via verification that critical and unique supplies are available to perform procedures. Will be able float to alternate clinical positions within their hospital, and within alternate hospitals within the system to provide coverage and training.
