The Clinical Liaison role involves strategic business planning, community outreach, and analysis to drive patient referrals and admissions within the Joplin, MO market. This position focuses on identifying and increasing market share through research, referrals, networking, and cultivating relationships with referral sources and prospective clients. The liaison supports the comprehensive health needs of patients and families through assessment, planning, facilitation, care coordination, evaluation, and advocacy. They also assist with clinical assessments to determine appropriate levels of care and educate referring partners on LTACH services and benefits. Landmark's culture emphasizes intensive care in 30-35 bed facilities, a multidisciplinary team approach, opportunities for skill development in critical care, ongoing training (some with CEU credits), patient-centered care for long-term patients (average 25-30 day stays), and system-wide support for sharing best practices.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of related experience in Healthcare
  • Possess the ability to influence and provide appropriate clinical evaluation and input regarding patients
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must be self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented
  • Able to travel (by car) extensively within the market

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
  • Active Clinical license (such as RN or RT strongly preferred)
  • Professional Healthcare License (RN, or RT.) is preferred
  • Strong sales background is also acceptable
  • Sales/Business Development strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Use strategic business planning, community outreach, and analysis skills to drive patient referrals and admissions in our market
  • Identify and increase market share through research, referrals, networking, and working with the referral sources
  • Support comprehensive health needs of patients and families through a collaborative process of assessment, planning, facilitation, care coordination, evaluation, and advocacy to promote quality and cost-effective outcomes
  • Proactively initiate new client partnerships and cultivate durable relationships with prospective clients
  • Maintain collaborative relationships with key referral sources
  • Assist with clinical assessments to determine the appropriate level of care
  • Provide education to referring partners on services and benefits of LTACH placements and programs
