About The Position

Landmark Hospitals is seeking a Clinical Liaison to join their business development team in the Joplin, MO metro market. This role requires energy, drive, experience in healthcare and/or sales, and strong professional relationships. The Clinical Liaison will educate the community about Landmark Hospitals' services, utilizing strategic business planning, community outreach, and analysis skills to drive patient referrals and admissions. Responsibilities include identifying and increasing market share, supporting comprehensive health needs of patients and families through care coordination, initiating new client partnerships, cultivating relationships with prospective clients and referral sources, and assisting with clinical assessments to determine appropriate levels of care. Landmark Hospitals is a privately owned, critical care hospital system with locations in Georgia and Missouri, licensed as acute care hospitals and accredited as long-term acute care hospitals (LTACH) under CIHQ. They specialize in caring for medically complex patients and offer a collaborative, supportive work environment. Requirements

  • 1-3 years of related experience in Healthcare
  • Possess the ability to influence and provide appropriate clinical evaluation and input regarding patients
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must be self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented
  • Able to travel (by car) extensively within the market

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
  • Active Clinical license (such as RN or RT strongly preferred)
  • Professional Healthcare License (RN, or RT.)
  • Sales/Business Development strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Educating the community about our services as a Business Development Clinical Liaison
  • Use strategic business planning, community outreach, and analysis skills to drive patient referrals and admissions in our market
  • Identify and increase market share through research, referrals, networking, and working with the referral sources
  • Support comprehensive health needs of patients and families through a collaborative process of assessment, planning, facilitation, care coordination, evaluation, and advocacy to promote quality and cost-effective outcomes
  • Proactively initiating new client partnerships and cultivating durable relationships with prospective clients
  • Maintaining collaborative relationships with key referral sources
  • Assists with clinical assessments to determine the appropriate level of care
  • Provides education to referring partners on services and benefits of LTACH placements and programs
