Visit us online at https://bhconnections.org Behavioral Health Connections (BHC) in Houston, TX is seeking a dynamic and talented Clinical Lead Licensed Therapist to join the team of compassionate, dedicated professionals. The Clinical Lead Therapist is responsible for leading and supporting a team of mobile assessors while overseeing call center workflows to ensure timely and effective service delivery. This position also includes managing staffing coverage and completing warrant reviews for multiple counties. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential, as well as experience with and knowledge of civil commitment processes. While the position is posted as remote, there may be times when you will be required to go out into the field for various job duties.

Requirements

  • Excellent clinical, communication, and organizational skills are critical components of this job.
  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Behavioral Health or related field.
  • Current license in state as a Licensed Professional Counselor (“LPC”), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (“LMFT”), Licensed Master Social Worker (“LMSW”), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (“LCSW”), or Registered Nurse (“RN”).
  • Current CPR, if required by a customer hospital. (“Customer hospital” means the hospital to which BHC is contracted to provide mobile assessment services.)
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Required 3-5 years of similar experience / Leadership experience

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred 5-8 years of similar experience

Responsibilities

  • Duties include filling in for call offs as appropriate, and daily reports.
  • Support with review of clinical assessment/referral documentation.
  • Provides clinical training and retraining for all staff, as well as identifies additional training needs.
  • Provides tele-therapy for clients as assigned.
  • Additional duties include help with team scheduling, payroll, training and onboarding new hires.
