Role of the Clinical Lead Team: The Clinical Lead Team provides clinical leadership, oversight, and guidance to ensure the delivery of high-quality, ethical, and evidence-based care. The team supports clinicians through consultation, training, and mentorship; promotes consistency in clinical practice; and collaborates with program leadership to maintain compliance, improve client outcomes, and strengthen overall service delivery. All new clinicians will be assigned to one member of the clinical lead team for 90 days. In the event of a corrective action, part of the corrective action plan will be for the clinician to be assigned to one member of the clinical lead team for 90 days. Key Functions Provide consultation and support to treatment teams Ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to evidence-based and best practice standards Assist with treatment planning, documentation requirements, and clinical decision-making Support risk management, crisis response, and consultation on complex cases Promote ongoing professional development, supervision, and clinical training Specific Duties of the Clinical Lead Team Clinical Oversight & Support Review and provide feedback on treatment plans, clinical assessments, and discharge planning during the training process Offer scheduled and as-needed clinical consultation to individual clinicians Participate in case staffing meetings for high-risk, complex, or non-progressing cases Quality & Evidence-Based Practice Ensure clinical services align with evidence-based practices and organizational treatment models Monitor consistency of clinical interventions across programs and providers Documentation & Clinical Decision-Making Maintain documentation standards and clinical expectations Conduct periodic chart reviews to assess quality, accuracy, and timeliness Provide corrective feedback and coaching related to documentation deficiencies Support clinicians in ethical and complex clinical decision-making Risk Management & Crisis Response Support crisis response decision-making and escalation procedures Support corrective action plans Professional Development & Training Identify training needs based on clinical trends, audits, and staff feedback Develop and deliver clinical training, workshops, and in-service education Provide mentorship and skill-building opportunities for clinicians Support onboarding and orientation of new clinical staff Compliance & Ethical Standards Ensure adherence to ethical codes, licensing requirements, accreditation standards (e.g., CARF), and regulatory guidelines Maintain compliance with organizational policies and procedures Provide consultation on ethical dilemmas and boundary concerns Support corrective action when standards are not met Program Development & Quality Improvement Collaborate with leadership on program design, enhancement, and expansion Participate in quality improvement initiatives and performance improvement plans Assist in development or revision of clinical policies, procedures, and protocols Support preparation for audits, accreditation reviews, and external evaluations Mission, Vison, Values The Clinical Lead Team will support a positive work culture that reflects the mission, vison and values of Prairie Ridge. Members of the Clinical Lead Team will receive up to 5 productivity units per pay period. All Clinical Lead duties completed during the pay period must be reflected on your schedule and documented in the Clinical Lead log which is to be turned in with payroll.
