Clinic Lead Registered Nurse (RN) - St. Anne Hospital Job Summary Under the supervision of the Practice Manager, the Clinic Lead - RN position is multi-functional and along with existing Registered Nurse duties, he/she will assist in oversight of the day-to-day operations of the practice. This position will be scheduled to routinely cover shifts in all areas to maintain skill set and will assist in issue resolution, staff scheduling, safety drills, and clinical competency/education.

Requirements

  • Current nursing license in the State of Ohio
  • At least one year of experience as a RN in an acute environment
  • More than one year of experience as a RN in an acute environment
  • Emergency Department- ACLS/PALS
  • Med Surg/Telemetry: BLS required, ACLS encouraged
  • STEP DOWN: ACLS required with 6 months of hire
  • ICU/CVU: ACLS required
  • Family Birth: BLS and NRP required: NCCc-EFM within 18 months of hire required
  • Perioperative: BLS required
  • Cath Lab:ACLS required
  • Cardiac Pulmonary Rehab: ACLS required
  • PACU: ACLS and PALS required

Nice To Haves

  • Previous charge nurse experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Maintain current job duties as outlined RN Job Description. The Clinic Lead responsibilities are in addition to existing daily workflow of the employee.
  • Assure overall effectiveness of day-to-day operations of the Clinic including but not limited to: Maintaining staff schedule; Coordinating clinic scheduling with appropriate managers; Assisting in training and on-going education; Ensuring appropriate use of equipment; Ensure accuracy and completeness of clinic logs; Assisting in performing office safety drills and Risk Assessments
  • Appropriately responding to general patient inquiries and complaints as well as issues concerning accounts and acting as a liaison with the CPBC office.
  • Supporting office policies and encourages a positive working environment among personnel.
  • Actively establishing and effective rapport with other employees, professional support services, customers, clients, patients, families and physicians, etc.
