This is a part time position (40 hours per two week pay period) with night shifts, generally 2300-0730, at Scripps Green Hospital in Torrey Pines with rotating weekends and on call. Training will primarily be during day shifts for the first 3 or so months. Includes $5k retention incentive for eligible new hires. The Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) will be joining the lab team at Scripps Green Hospital, one of our busiest sites for transfusion medicine. The team at Scripps Green Hospital is a close-knit, experienced team passionate about providing quality patient care. As part of the team at Scripps Green Hospital, the CLS would be exposed to cases related to hematology/oncology, urgent care and other rare cases with a patient population that is more clinic- and treatment-based. The following are not eligible for hiring incentives: Internal candidates, Rehires that left Scripps less than 3 years ago, Candidates with less than 1 year of experience. In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met: Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter), Must remain in original department/specialty, Must remain in original Job Title. Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.
