The responsibilities of this role are to assure the PICIS OR information systems are current and accurate. This can include, but not limited to, updating procedures, preference cards, persons and equipment in order to correspond to appropriate charges and reports; education of staff; adding additional enhancements to maximize the program.

Requirements

  • Minimum five (5) years current experience in Hospital Information Management/Technology with Supervisory/Administrative Experience preferred.
  • Currently licensed/certified in a clinical discipline, (i.e. RN, MT ASCP) with at least five (5) years of Hospital experience in the clinical specialty.
  • Baccalaureate Science Degree.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Offices tools, database management and Report Writing
  • Experience in teaching personnel on Hospital Computer Systems and act as key resource for the purchase, installation and ongoing support and consultative assistance of Hospital based computer systems.
  • Experience with full project life cycle and Project management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication required.

Nice To Haves

  • Masters degree in Information Management preferred.
