Collaborates with customers, Information Services, Vendors, peers in the informatics role, and other key stakeholders to develop and execute information technology plans including software applications and hardware related to clinical workflows. Interacts daily with staff to communicate and resolve information technology needs. Acts as advocate for staff in relation to clinical IT issues. Provides a key link between medical staff, nursing staff, other clinical users, senior administration, and Information Services. Utilizes knowledge of clinical workflow to provide input into application development, implementation, training, and continuous support. This role provides information systems support to achieve the organization’s mission of excellent patient care.
