Get to Know Your Team: UT Health East Texas is comprised of 9 hospitals, more than 90 clinics, nearly 7,500 employees and over 1,000 licensed inpatient beds. We provide healthcare services through our hospitals, clinics, Level 1 trauma facility, air emergency fleet and EMS service. The Hospital Informatics Analyst ensures organizational success by actively participating in the planning, development, implementation, education, and training of clinical and operational documentation. This role will focus on operational excellence by improving workflow and implementing evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes, ensuring organizational needs are met and delivering high-quality services to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree
  • Additional years of experience may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
  • Certification as a Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Medical Assistant (MA), Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Pharmacy Certified Technician, Certified Radiology Technician, or Certified Respiratory Therapist.
  • 1 year of experience in the related healthcare field.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or related healthcare field.
  • Licensure in home state; Compact licensure.
  • Informatics experience.
  • Master's degree in healthcare, business, or healthcare related field desired.
