About The Position

The UCF College of Nursing is seeking a Clinical Experiences Coordinator who provides support for graduate clinical experiences by building and sustaining partnerships with healthcare organizations and preceptors to identify, develop, and manage clinical placement opportunities. This role works with administration, faculty, and students to develop and arrange clinical experiences to meet graduate clinical course objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or Master's Degree and 2+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6).

  • Experience coordinating clinical placements, internships, or experiential learning in a healthcare or academic setting.
  • Experience in a customer service-oriented role with the ability to interact professionally and provide courteous responses to inquiries from partners and external stakeholders.
  • Experience coordinating projects and tasks, including tracking progress, managing timelines, and communicating with multiple stakeholders to ensure completion.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for data management, reporting, and correspondence.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, strong oral/written communication skills, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently and be part of a team environment while developing highly effective and valued professional relationships with peers, colleagues, and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains clinical sites and preceptors across outpatient, inpatient, and acute, community, and specialty settings.
  • Supports preceptor relationships through recruitment, screening, onboarding, and orientation.
  • Serves as the point person for preceptor support with the College of Nursing.
  • Supports processes to develop, update, and communicate placement procedures, checklists, and templates for students, faculty, and clinical partners.
  • Serves as a front-line contact to collaborate with students, faculty, and staff for graduate clinical placements, planning, and communication.
  • Maintains placement databases for sites, student placements, preceptor engagement and recruitment, and compliance status.
  • Produces graduate clinical reports for the College of Nursing staff, program, and academic leadership.
  • Other duties as assigned.
