Get to Know Your Team: Physicians Surgical Hospitals includes two surgical centers - Panhandle Surgical Hospital and Quail Creek Surgical Hospital, and one physical therapy center - Quail Creek Physical Therapy - and a state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging center, Advanced Imaging Center of Amarillo. The Clinical Education RN is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating education programs to support clinical staff competency, professional development, and regulatory compliance. This role serves as a subject matter expert, mentor, and facilitator for nursing and allied health education across the organization, ensuring excellence in patient care through evidence-based practice and continuous learning.

Requirements

  • Current and valid RN license in Texas.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of recent clinical experience in acute care nursing.
  • Basic Life Support through American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
  • Advanced Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 30 days of hire

  • Acute care hospital experience.
