Clinical Educator NICU
About The Position
The Clinical Educator provides staff development expertise in their assigned specialty as an educator, expert clinician, consultant, facilitator, change agent, leader, patient advocate and researcher. Each supports the clinical and professional development of their staff, with a goal of achieving excellence in the delivery of evidence based nursing practice. The Clinical Educator facilitates the educational process through assessment, development, planning, implementation and evaluation of competency, continuing education and professional development. In addition, as a role model of professional behavior, the Clinical Educator assists in creating a professional nursing climate and supports the SRDH mission, vision and values.
Requirements
- Masters Of Nursing
- 7-10 years as Level 3 NICU nurse.
- Registered Nurse: NV (RN:NV)
- Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program Instructor (NRP-I)
- Stable Program (STBL)
- Stable Instructor (STBL-I) within 6 months.
Nice To Haves
- 7-10 years as Level 3 NICU nurse with emphasis on Neonatal nursing
- RNC-NIC
