About The Position

Reporting to the Manager of the Clinical Documentation Team, the Clinical Documentation Coordinator has primary responsibility for tracking, organizing, analyzing and working all RAIs (Requests for Additional Information) from their initial receipt through completion.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year experience reviewing clinical documentation in the hospital setting, outpatient/ambulatory setting or other similar health care setting.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office with demonstrable proficiency in the software applications required to perform in this position.
  • Requirements include Word and Outlook with Excel experience as an advanced user.
  • Exceptional organizational and analytical skills required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication including customer service skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively and profession ally with all CUP practitioners (e.g. Physicians, Non - Physician Practitioners.)
  • Individual must have proven potential of a fast learning curve during training moving toward the ability to handle a high volume of daily work with speed and accuracy

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred experience working with EPIC and with EPIC Electronic Health Records.
