Requirements

  • A licensed LMFT, LPCC, LCSW, PsyD, or PhD in good standing.
  • Experienced leader with at least 2–3 years of supervisory experience in a residential setting.
  • Skilled in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and evidence-based interventions.
  • Compassionate and culturally sensitive, ready to serve a diverse adult population.
  • Strong communicator and mentor who thrives in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.
  • Valid California license: LMFT, LPCC, LCSW, PsyD, or PhD.
  • Master’s degree or higher in Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or Social Work.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a DHCS/DSS-licensed residential program.
  • 2–3 years of clinical supervisory experience.
  • Valid California Driver’s License.
  • Current CPR & First Aid Certification.
  • Ability to pass a LiveScan criminal background check and drug screen.

  • CPI training or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

  • Lead treatment planning, guide case reviews, and ensure therapeutic programming is evidence-based and outcomes-driven.
  • Supervise Therapists and Care Path Managers, provide weekly coaching, and support BBS-registered staff in achieving licensure.
  • Remain accessible for clinical emergencies, supporting staff with real-time decision-making.
  • Create programming, support quality assurance, and maintain compliance with DHCS, DSS, and Joint Commission standards.
  • Carry a small caseload (3–5 clients) to stay connected to the clinical experience and model best practices.
  • Partner with leadership, psychiatrists, and providers to ensure integrated, holistic client care.
