About The Position

At Via Elegante Assisted Living & Memory Care, we believe exceptional care begins with exceptional people. Family-owned and operated since 2003, we are Southern Arizona's premier provider of Assisted Living and Memory Care services - proudly delivering compassionate, person-centered care in a warm, home-like environment. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Clinical Director (Registered Nurse) to lead our dedicated care team at our Sierra Vista Communities. This is an incredible opportunity for a dynamic nursing leader who is passionate about quality care, staff development, and building strong resident relationships.

Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in good standing (Arizona or compact state).
  • Minimum 2 years of leadership experience managing clinical teams.
  • 2+ years of experience in dementia care, assisted living, hospice, or home health.
  • Current CPR/First Aid certification and required health screenings.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Teams, and eMAR systems.
  • Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card (or ability to obtain within 20 days).
  • Arizona Memory Care Certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days).
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and fluent in English (written and verbal).
  • Clear background check and drug screening

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and evaluate the care and services provided to each resident.
  • Review, update, and manage individualized service plans.
  • Conduct pre-admission assessments and ongoing health evaluations.
  • Facilitate care coordination with families, providers, home health, and hospice agencies.
  • Ensure accurate and compliant resident health documentation.
  • Mentor and oversee two Health & Wellness Directors and their care teams.
  • Provide clinical training, coaching, and ongoing education to caregivers.
  • Lead quality assurance initiatives and ensure compliance with state regulations.
  • Conduct audits and manage corrective actions when needed.
  • Oversee caregiver scheduling to ensure consistent and adequate coverage.
  • Foster a positive, resident-first culture built on teamwork, accountability, and compassion.
  • Lead regular team meetings to promote communication, celebrate success, and address challenges.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation to support after-hours clinical needs.
