Assumes and carries out clinical leadership of Psychiatry of CHN as directed by the Chief Medical Officer. To act as a psychiatric consultant on clinical issues in all areas of CHN including primary care and care management. Seventy (70) percent of the Director of Psychiatry's time is spent conducting Psychiatric Evaluations and management of patients. Thirty (30) percent of the Clinical Director's is spent performing administrative tasks, which include but are not limited to, providing consultations and education to clinical staff, planning and coordination of program needs and quality oversight, and serving as an administrative liaison with the Vice President of Behavioral Health. This will be done in partnership with the operational director of psychiatry. The Clinical Director meets regularly with program staff to address clinical issues and be available to assist the VP of Behavioral Health in developing relationships with community agencies.
