About The Position

The Clinical Director II is responsible for providing clinical and administrative leadership toward the development and effective management of the integrated clinical and community support services at CMHA in the Adult Division. The Clinical Director I will work collaboratively with clinical/program staff as well as with other members of CMHA leadership, DMHAS and other external entities to achieve efficient, timely and clinically indicated care consistent with program goals and agency mission. The Clinical Director I will review new admissions as well as existing caseloads, conduct/document supervision consistent with the IDDT model, effectively utilize data including Key Performance Indicators to arrive at a benefit package consistent with the client’s needs and promote care to the appropriate team in collaboration with the Centralized Intake Team. The Clinical Director I will maintain accessibility, fluidity and assignment to qualified/competent staff. The Clinical Director II will manage the department’s team in compliance with agency directive and initiatives by utilizing Key Performance Indicators and other data to maintain fidelity with funder’s models, licensing regulations and payor’s requirements.

Requirements

  • Valid DMV License
  • Master’s degree in psychology or related field required.
  • Connecticut Licensure in a Behavioral Health discipline.
  • Successful direct clinical experience in related field, preferably a minimum of five years.
  • Successful supervisory experience in related field, preferably a minimum of three years.
  • Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Office Products including Word and Outlook.

  • Experience in an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
