About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a Clinical Dietitian to join our team at UC Health Medical Center in Cincinnati, OH. In this role, you will provide medical nutrition therapy for patients across medical and surgical inpatient units, as well as support coverage in the Intensive Care Unit. This position is scheduled for 32 hours per week and is a great opportunity for both experienced dietitians and motivated new graduates with strong acute‑care internship experience who are looking to grow in a dynamic clinical environment. Requirements

Registered Dietitian and licensure in the state of Ohio (or eligibility to obtain)
Strong clinical judgment and ability to manage diverse patient caseloads
Excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
Minimum Education Requirement: Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
Credentials Requirement: Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire

Responsibilities

Provide medical nutrition therapy for a variety of patients
Conduct nutrition assessments, develop individualized care plans, and document according to established standards
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
Educate patients and families on nutrition interventions and discharge planning
Participate in performance improvement initiatives and departmental projects
