About The Position
The Registered Clinical Dietitian provides nutritional care to patients in accordance with the philosophy, objectives, and policies of the medical center and department. The Dietitians deliver comprehensive nutritional care to patients beginning with nutritional screening, assessment of patients, development of plan of nutritional care, implementation of plan of care, evaluation of care, and follow-up.
Requirements
- License will suffice as education is required to get the license
- Commission on Dietetics Registration - Registered Dietitian or Registry Eligible required.
- Licensed by the State of Alabama as a Dietitian/Nutritionist required.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in providing nutrition care in inpatient and outpatient settings for a wide variety of disease states to include diabetes, obesity, renal disease, wound healing, cardiovascular health, tube feedings and TPN preferred.
- Serv-Safe Certified preferred
