About The Position

Our Lady of Consolation is located on the beautiful Great South Bay and is comprised of a 345-bed nursing and rehabilitative care center. Job Details Candidate must posess the following requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics from an accredited college or university and CADE accredited Dietetic Internship Program. Completion of a Commission on Accreditation of Dietetics Education (CADE) accredited Didactic Program in Dietetics; must be a Registered Dietitian. Masters Degree preferred. The primary purpose of your job is to plan, organize and develop the overall operation of resident/patient nutritional services in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations, our established policies and procedures, in accordance with the Director of Food Services and the Chief Clinical Dietician. Provide services as required by the State Hospital Code and Federal Register of Dietitians for Skilled Nursing and Health Related Facilities. Assess each resident’s/patient’s nutritional status on admission, quarterly and annually. Counsel residents/patients and/or family concerning dietary needs and education. Assist with developing and maintaining a diet manual for the facility; write and revise menus with the Director of Food Services, Chief Clinical Dietician.

Requirements
