About The Position

Improving Lives. Improving Communities.  LRADAC offers a wide array of prevention, intervention and treatment programs in both Lexington and Richland counties, so when you join our team you are truly improving lives and improving communities. As a part of our dedicated staff, you will be a part of innovative programs and services taking a proactive approach to fighting addition and drug misuse in our schools, businesses, and neighborhoods. We tailor our programs to meet the ever-changing needs of the communities we serve. Our prevention, intervention and treatment programs spread the message that there is hope and that substance misuse and addiction are preventable and treatable.   Come join an agency that believes in continuous improvement and training/education for our team members. We are passionate about reaching and renewing lives by restoring hope that change is possible.  We are hiring two (2) temporary grant funded positions that are instrumental to LRADAC’s expansion of warm handoff programs and recovery services for individuals with substance use disorders (SUD) in Richland County. In partnership with the Richland County Sheriff’s department, this position will ride with law enforcement agents to increase access and address critical service gaps into high need community settings. This dual-modality approach is designed to promote early intervention, streamline referrals, and support long-term recovery by meeting individuals where they are – physically and situationally. Under regular supervision of the Program Manager, staff will spend their time in the community to identify at-risk individuals, conduct brief assessments, provide referrals, and reduce barriers to care. Flexible scheduling may include weekends or variable hours, depending on law enforcement operations.
