LRADAC offers a wide array of prevention, intervention and treatment programs in both Lexington and Richland counties. We tailor our programs to meet the ever-changing needs of the communities we serve. Our prevention, intervention and treatment programs spread the message that there is hope and that substance misuse and addiction are preventable and treatable. In support of our purpose to improve communities, we are expanding our treatment services to partner with Columbia Area Mental Health (CAMH) to provide individual and group counseling of an advanced nature to patients presenting with co-occurring substance use disorders and mental illness. This SCORF (South Carolina Opioid Recovery Fund) grant-funded Clinical Counselor is located at CAMH but works under the regular supervision of a LRADAC Program Manager. In this role, the Counselor will counsel and aid adolescents, adults, and their families requiring assistance managing and improving symptoms of co-occurring substance use disorders and mental illness. POSITION LOGISTICS Full-time 37.5 hours a week Schedule is routinely Monday - Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Evening hours may be required with a flex schedule as approved by supervisor. Grant-funded position with a August 30, 2026 end date. Position continuance contingent upon grant renewal.
