How you’ll contribute This role provides both clinical and administrative leadership within the acute inpatient rehabilitation unit. The position ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, coordinates therapy schedules, and serves as the primary liaison among therapists, physicians, nursing staff, and program leadership. By balancing patient care with operational oversight, the role drives quality improvement initiatives, supports accreditation readiness, and promotes best practices to deliver efficient, high-quality rehabilitation services.

Requirements

  • AR licensed PT, OT, SLP, COTA, or PTA
  • BLS which can be acquired onsite during orientation

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year Acute Rehab with QI scoring experience, preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop and monitor daily therapy schedules and patient minute trackers to meet rehab intensity standards.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for acute rehab therapists, collaborating closely with the program director.
  • Lead and engage the team in process improvement and quality initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Partner with nursing and medical coordinators to align patient care needs and accreditation readiness.
  • Provide patient assessments and interventions in accordance with clinical practice guidelines and CMS requirements.
