Providing competency assessments and educational/training sessions for staff as well as establishing best practice protocols. Having a working knowledge of all aspects of procedures for their specific discipline, as well as policies. Serving on committees for program planning. Providing care for a designated group of ICU patients, including evaluations, modalities, and treatments. Responsible for the care of patients treated by residents, therapist assistants, technicians, students, and observers. Responsible for orientation and ongoing guidance of assigned staff. Coordinates the Cardiopulmonary Residency program. Serves as the PHI Therapy coordinator.

Requirements

Graduate of Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctorate Degree from an accredited school of Physical Therapy Required
5 years of experience, preferable in a hospital setting Required
Current licensure in the State of Georgia in applicable field of study Upon Hire Required
Cardiopulmonary Clinical Specialty Cert through the APTA Upon Hire Required
BCLS - Basic Life Support through AHA Upon Hire Required
