About The Position
Cardiovascular Technology Clinical Coordinator with a strong background in invasive cardiovascular, echocardiography or vascular technology, teaching experience, effective management skills, and a commitment to maintaining high education standards. The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for correlating and coordinating clinical education with didactic education and evaluating its effectiveness. Participating in didactic and/or clinical instruction to produce highly qualified, technically oriented radiographers who are eligible to sit for the CCI and/or ARDMS national registry. Supporting the Program Director to ensure effective program operations. Participating in the accreditation and assessment processes. Maintaining current knowledge of the professional discipline and educational methodologies through continuing professional development. Maintains current knowledge of program policies, procedures, and student progress.
Requirements
- Baccalaureate Degree Science related field required.
- Five (5) years? experience required. Experience should include three (3) years in cardio or vascular instruction and educational experience. Three (3) years? experience in invasive, non-invasive or vascular services.
- Certification required from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCIS, RCS RVS or ACS), the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDCS or RVT) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (CI, CV or R).
- ACLS Instructor required.
- BLS Instructor required.
