This position is for a Clinical Concierge Medical Assistant with Occupational Medicine in Puyallup, WA. The role is full-time (FTE: 1.0) on a day shift, Monday-Friday schedule. The Clinical Concierge Medical Assistant I role offers an opportunity to expand healthcare responsibilities by performing clinical tasks and coordinating patient care within the MA-C license scope. The individual will work collaboratively with a team to ensure optimal healthcare outcomes and patient experiences, providing excellent patient customer service and clinic management assistance.

Requirements

  • Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C)
  • Current BLS Certification or may be obtained through an in-house training program, depending on assignment
  • For applicants currently in an externship or residency program: active or pending WA DOH MA-R certification within 7 days of hire, and Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) license within 45 days of hire
  • For Idaho State: Current CMA certification by AAMA, NHA or NCCT
  • For Idaho State: WA state MA-C license, or WA state MA-R license required with endorsement by Indigo within the first 30 days of employment

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum one (1) year experience in physician's office or other medical facility preferred

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with physicians, clinical staff, front office staff and clinic management to ensure comprehensive health care outcomes
  • Perform a variety of functions within the clinic setting requiring specialized knowledge and integration of available standards, resources, and data
  • Advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds
  • Create and provide a safe and supportive environment for patients
