About The Position

We're seeking a detail-oriented Clinical Coding Compliance Coordinator to lead auditing, training, and compliance initiatives across our clinical teams. This role serves as the subject matter expert in ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, and CCI coding, ensuring accurate documentation and optimal reimbursement in alignment with Medicare, Medicaid, and other payor guidelines. PTO and Personal Time accruals are pro-rated by FTE/hours worked. Non-benefits eligible employees will accrue Personal Time based on hours worked and State worked. Requirements

  • CCS or CPC certification required; CPMA preferred
  • 2+ years of coding and chart auditing experience required
  • Strong knowledge of ICD-9/10, CPT, HCPCS, and CCI
  • Experience training clinicians and working in a medical office setting required
  • Proficiency in EHR systems and Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

  • Conduct coding audits and compliance reviews
  • Educate clinicians on documentation standards and coding accuracy - must be able to perform on-site education.
  • Develop training materials and lead workshops
  • Collaborate with departments to resolve coding issues and improve charge entry
  • Stay current with coding regulations and software updates
