About The Position

Clinical Care Attendant + Rad Tech (or limited rad) Express Care Clinic - Waukee Monday-Friday - 3 x 12 hour shifts + weekend/holiday rotation Full-time + benefits $5,000 sign on bonus offered to external or newly licensed candidates The Clinical Care Attendant in this role is dual licensed-holding a clinical credential such as CMA, LPN, EMT, or Paramedic, in addition to a Radiologic Technologist (RT) or Limited Radiologic Technologist license. This position combines direct patient care with basic diagnostic imaging responsibilities to support efficient, high-quality care in a fast-paced express care clinic setting. Working alongside providers, the Clinical Care Attendant performs patient intake, clinical procedures, point-of-care testing, and diagnostic imaging. This role ensures smooth coordination of care, from check-in to discharge, while maintaining regulatory compliance and patient comfort.

Requirements

  • Current licensure/certification as one of the following: CMA, LPN, EMT, or Paramedic.
  • CMA must have certification through NHA, AAMA, NCCT or AMT (RMA) + have graduated from an accredited CMA program
  • Other licenses must be in good standing to practice in Iowa
  • Current licensure as a Radiologic Technologist or Limited Radiologic Technologist.
  • BLS certification.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with EPIC a plus but not required
  • Clinical experience desired

Responsibilities

  • Greet, register, and room patients; collect vital signs and patient history.
  • Perform point-of-care testing and assist with clinical procedures as directed by the provider.
  • Perform diagnostic imaging within the scope of licensure (Radiologic Technologist or Limited Radiologic Technologist).
  • Ensure proper imaging documentation, safety protocols, and equipment maintenance.
  • Provide patient education, review after-visit instructions, and conduct follow-up communications as needed.
  • Maintain clean and stocked exam and imaging rooms; manage medical and radiologic supplies.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, providers, and support staff.
  • Adhere to all regulatory standards, including HIPAA, OSHA, CLIA, and radiologic safety requirements.
  • Participate in staff meetings, ongoing training, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as needed to support the overall operation of the clinic.
