Park View Assisted Living , a Cassia community, is hiring dependable, compassionate Care Attendants to join our team! This is a great opportunity for those seeking entry-level work or wanting to learn and grow in a healthcare setting. No experience is needed as we will provide training to set you up for success. As a Care Attendant at Park View Assisted Living, you will provide person-centered care to our residents, supporting them with their Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and medication administration while promoting dignity, independence and well-being. This position is ideal for someone who truly wants to make a difference in the lives of others. Position Type: Full-Time and Part-Time, benefits eligible position working a varying schedule Available Shifts (including every other weekend): Evenings: 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM Wage Range: $18.17 - $22.28 / hour depending on experience Location: 613 Montrose Blvd, Buffalo, MN 55313

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Must be 18+ years of age.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff.
  • Must demonstrate good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous care experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting them with personal care and daily living activities.
  • Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per individualized care plan.
  • Take and record temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse and respiration as instructed.
  • Report changes or concerns to the RN.
  • Document services performed on computerized charting system.
  • Observe resident and report any changes in physical and emotional condition such as change in attitude, reaction, and appetite, to the supervisor.
  • Assist the resident with personal care which may include the following: shampooing of hair, assist with showering/ bathing, and medication administration.
  • Complete light housekeeping duties.
  • Perform additional tasks as needed.
