Clinical Associate - Operating Room
About The Position
The Clinical Associate in the Operating Room plays a vital role on our care team by supporting both direct and indirect patient care under the guidance of a registered nurse—all while keeping our clinical spaces safe, spotless, and ready for action. In this hands-on role, you’ll jump in to clean and decontaminate designated areas, perform between-case and terminal cleanings, and manage precaution room cleaning with precision and care. You’ll help maintain a sterile environment, turn over patient care rooms efficiently, and ensure each space is fully prepped for the next patient. Requirements
- High School diploma or High School Equivalency diploma
- NOTE: Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior experience working in a hospital setting
- Previous experience in a direct patient care role, particularly within an Operating Room environment
- Strong customer care or patient service experience
- Professionalism, compassion, and effective communication
- A stable work history demonstrating reliability, accountability, and commitment to quality care
